• How do I buy a design?
      Click on an image to display the design information or use the search box on the main
      shop page.  Add to your cart​ and follow the check out process.
  • What formats do my designs come in?
      All files include multi formats - DST,EXP,HUS,JEF,PES,VIP,XXX and for newer designs, VP3
  • How do I pay for a design?
       ​Use your PayPal account to check out.  Payment is in pounds sterling but Paypal will debit your account in your own currency based upon their own conversion rate.
  • How do I get my download?
      You will be emailed immediately with a link to a zipped file. Using some browsers, you will also have the opportunity to immediately download the design.
  • How long does it take to get my download email?
      The email is almost immediate.  Do check your spam box if you can't find it
      because sometimes your filters might decide to place it there. Order confirmation emails are
      sent from [email protected].  Make sure to download immediately.
  • Do I need an account?
      No.  Not even a PayPal account.
  • How do I know what I have previously purchased?
​​      I recommend saving your order confirmation emails into a special Meryl Makes folder. The website does not currently support an account feature.
  • How many times can I download a design?
​      You can automatically download designs up to 5 times for newer designs, and 3 times for older ones.  After that, please contact me with your order number and I will send the design over manually.  This limit on the website is just a precaution to deter unauthorised link sharing.
  • Why is my download not working?
      Check that your computer/laptop/phone is using the latest operating software.  Check that you are using the most up to date browser.  All designs and downloads are tested in Chrome/Edge/Safari before releasing onto the website.  Try downloading using Google Chrome (you may need to associate your email with this browser).  If you still have problems and have tried all of the above, please contact [email protected] with your order number, computer model, operating software version, browser version etc and we will send across any paid for purchase.
  • ​Can I sell items made using designs from Meryl Makes?​ ​ 
      Yes there are no limits to the number of items you can make and sell using my designs
  • How do I find out about discount codes, sales and news?
      Follow the discount or newsletter tab or button to sign up for our newsletter so you never miss out on sales, discounts or news.  Latest offers are always shown on the home page too.
  • How do I use a discount code?
      Place the design in your cart in the usual way.  At the checkout, input the discount code where it says "input coupon code" under the items.  Click on apply.  Do not press return as  it will not register. Make sure the code has registered. Continue the checkout process in the normal way.  Please note only one discount code can be used at a time.
  • Discount code is not working?
      Check you have the right design and are using the correct code.
     
      Make sure there are no unnecessary spaces when you input the code at checkout. If you use
      copy and paste, often an extra space is captured at the beginning which will result in the
      message "coupon not found".  Delete that first space so that the letters or numbers are the
      first entry.

      Ensure you use the code within the valid period.
   
      If everything has been checked and the code is still not working please contact
      [email protected] with a screenshot, before making payment, as refunds cannot be
     given if the code is not used correctly.
  • Can I have a refund if I have bought the wrong design or size?
​      Please note these are digital downloads and no refunds will be given for the above reasons.  Please check your purchase before completing.  If you have purchased a duplicate of the same design, please contact [email protected] for a credit note.
  • How do I contact Meryl Makes?
​     Please use [email protected] for all email communications. Our other email addresses
      are used for orders and are not monitored.
  •  Help....my computer broke and I've lost all my designs
​​      Please make sure to back up your design library to the cloud or an external hard drive.  Alternatively keep all your email order confirmations as you are able to redownload from the included link up to 5 times.  Should you still require help, please note that there is a charge of £30 payable to recover multiple designs files.
  • Where is Meryl Makes based and who is Meryl?
       In a beautiful thatched cottage by the seaside in Devon, England.  Now you know why I  have a beach section!  I'm an avid embroiderer who loves creating beautiful designs. Inspiration comes from the world I live in........and yes I know I'm lucky to have  such fabulous surroundings.
