This lovely stuffie is made completely in the hoop. when . Choose what elements to include to make a bird or a chicken, and then decide where your stuffie is going to look - straight, looking up or looking down. That makes 4 variations in 3 different directions giving you the chance to produce 12 different stuffies from this one design. With or without the wings, with or without the comb but keeping the tail and beak for all birds.
I couldn't resist sticking a piece of red felt on the breast of one bird, once the design was finished, and turned it into a cute robin.
The final result is the same size whether you use a 5x7 hoop or the 4x4 hoop. The design is made one hooping if using the bigger hoop, and 2 hoopings using the 4x4.

These are just 3 of the many permutations of this design.
